My Monster, Anxiety

“My Monster, Anxiety” is a capstone project consisting of a collection of at least 3 digital drawings highlighting my personal interpretations and reflections of struggling with mental illness, specifically Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Through this project, I hope to add on to the diverse interpretations of mental illness through art while reducing stigma surrounding mental illness by visualizing these struggles. Drawing on personal experiences, inspiration from works of artists delving into mental illness and mental health struggles, and the impact of visualization and character design, this capstone seeks to validate the struggles of millions of individuals and educate those who may not understand.
